Our Story
Curious about the evolution of Messed Up? It all started at Amery Middle School with a program called Genius Hour. This program allows students to choose any topic of their choice, and at the end they go to Genius Hour Expo where they present their findings. This inspired Izzy and Camille to reflect on their own fears entering middle school and the desire for guidance that traditional textbooks couldn't provide. They decided to be that support for future Amery middle schoolers, sharing both the quirky and serious insights, and reminding them that they’re not alone in navigating this challenging and awkward stage of life.
Meet The Team
Camille
Hi, I'm Camille! I'm active in basketball and cross country, and I'm looking forward to joining the tennis team in high school. I'm also part of my school's choir and play percussion in the band. As an extrovert, I thrive in social settings. My favorite artist is Billie Eilish, and my top song is "The Greatest." Lastly one of my favorite quotes is, "Whatever you are, be a good one." - Abraham Lincoln.
Izzy (Isabella)
Hi, I’m Isabella. I’m an 8th grade middle schooler and I love music, some of my fav bands are Hole and Slipnot. My favorite food is banana bread bc it’s sweet and soft, plus I have a HUGE sweet tooth. I like playing volleyball, and when I’m not playing, i sometimes use my time to crochet and paint. I love painting, and see my ideas come to life with colors. I also really love animals. When I grow up, I want to be a teacher so I can help other kids learn and have fun in class. I always try my best in school and to help others
